- Urban Picnic is the annual restaurant showcase presented by The Kansas City Originals Independent Restaurant Group. This year's fundraising efforts will benefit culinary programs at schools on both sides of the state line, DeLaSalle Education Center in Kansas City, Missouri and Broadmoor Technical Center in Overland Park, Kansas.
